SKF Kumite Course

We are happy to invite you to the SKF Kumite Course on the 1st of April 2018.

This is a free course, open to all members with a valid licence.

All those who attend will be given a stamp on their licence for participation.

Please note that hand pads are required (bring feet pads too if you have them).

Scottish International Open April 2018

Please find below info on the Scottish International Open at the Emirates Arena, Glasgow on 14/15th April 2018.

SKF Entries will only be accepted returned on this form (instructors to complete one form per club):

(There is an example of how to complete at the top of the form and cost columns have information about the correct entry amount. The form will auto add what is due from each competitor and also will calculate a club total. All forms will be checked on receipt and then a request for payment will be made).


For Kumite teams/pairs – please include entry if you wish your club member to be considered for a team. Teams will be decided by the SKF Kumite Coaches.

For Kata teams/pairs – please indicate in the e-mail who is in each team/pair (especially if you have more than one entry)

All entries must be in by Friday 23rd March at 5pm to allow time to sort teams and to enter onto Sport Data.

Please note that NO entries will be accepted after this date.

SKF Kata Coach

Applications are invited from qualified coaches who wish to be considered for the role of SKF Kata Coach. The post holder will form part of the current coaching team.

You will assist in all training sessions for the current elite squad and in conjunction with the coaching team make selections for events, as well as continued review of the elite squad.

You must be qualified to SKGB Coach level and have the relevant insurance in place for that role.

A valid Scottish Karate Federation Licence is essential.

Expenses are paid to all coaches when attending competitions outwith the country.

East Whitburn Championships
