Kata Selections for European Wado Cup

The selections to choose the SKF Kata competitors for the forthcoming Wado European championships will take place in Meadowbank sports centre on Saturday 10th October from 2pm to 3pm.

The S.K.F have preselected some places following on results from the last European, British, Commonwealth, Scottish Open and Scottish National Championships. As some places have already been selected, and it is only three kata competitors per category per country the following places are open for selection on the 10th October.

World Junior Championships Squad

The following members of the SKF have been selected to represent Scotland at the forthcoming World Junior Championships: R.GOURLAY-14/15 -47K (F), I.FROST-14/15 +54 (F), C.WISHART-16/17 -59 (F), C.MCDONALD-16/17 -76 (M), S.WYLLIE-16/17 (M), D.BOLTON-U21 -78K (M), A.WOOD-U21 +78K (M), C.MACLEAN-U21 -53K (F). Shingo Ohgami Seminar

All instructors, coaches and students (kids and adults) 3rd kyu – Dan grade are all welcome to attend the Shingo Ohgami Seminar the SKF has  arranged.

Venue: Wester Hailes Education Centre, Edinburgh

Date: Thursday 29th October 2009 from 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Cost: £10.00 per person
